Charlotte, NC: The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) is excited to bring the 2026 NJCAA Division I Softball World Series to Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL, after a one-year stint in Yuma, Arizona. This will be the third time Oxford will host the World Series, and it will be for the next three years.
A total of 20 teams from potentially 20 states will travel to Oxford from May 25-30, 2026. The tournament field includes sixteen district champions and four at-large qualifiers. The top four seeds will each receive a first-round bye. The World Series will be a double-elimination format.
Florida schools have won every NJCAA Division I World Series Championship since 2019, and Indian River State (FL) claimed its first national championship in 2024, the last Division I World Series hosted in Oxford. Indian River State defeated McLennan (TX) 3-0 in the championship game, and J’Dah Girigorie was named the Tournament’s Most Valuable Player. The Curacao native has been a staple in the circle for Florida International this season.
Tickets for the World Series are on sale at Choccolocco Park on days of the Tournament. Adult tickets are $15 per person per day, and a tournament pass will be $40 per person.
